Hello Mrs. Amri’s class! This is my first blog post.
Today I want to talk about my great person, Sacagawea.

Do you know how Sacagawea made a difference in the world? She played an important role in helping the Lewis and Clark expedition reach the Pacific ocean. She did this by guiding them, serving as a translator, and sharing her knowledge of local plants and animals.

She did all this and carried a baby boy on her back as well. I admire Sacagawea greatly because she did not give up and showed great endurance.

I see Sacagawea as a good female role model because of all of the things she accomplished in life under such hard circumstances.

And I can not wait to tell her story in the Hall of Great People.
